  • Yousee - internet slows down after 3-4 days.

    Af e-gamer Monster Nørd
Hi guys, it`s kinda crazy. I got 100 Mb/s connection and after 3-4 days it slows down to +- 25 Mb/s and stays at this level.

And after i restart router (turn off -> turn off) i got 100 Mb/s again ... for 3-4 days :D

Anyone experienced similar problem?
I got CG3000 with the firmware updated.

I used to have that problem with "the white router" - that in some time of the day internet was very slow.
Thank god with CG3000 that problem is gone (and that problem was much worse than i have right now = i`m really sorry for you man, i know how you feel ;)

I also think about new router, it`s kinda shitty that we have to still use that CG3000 as a modem.

But probably i`ll order technician first (however i doubt that he helps me).
I`ve also ordered a technician when i had that random speed @ random time problem - he gave me new cable and gave me new "white router" :D

Shitty thing.

Is the wireless so bad? - i got some notebooks and the signal is kinda stable. Maybe try to test it with some other router, but CG3000 fixed that problem for me and you got slower speed at the time when more people is @ home and use internet = might be some more serious, than router, issue.

I would move out from that place ;)

How about ping? - is it stable all the time?

In Start - left down bottom - and run ... write a command
cmd

Then write:
ping -t www.odense.dk and see the fluctuation. Stable?

# 9 - ping to speedtest where is run my speed test is always 5-6ms , so yes stable ping

" but CG3000 fixed that problem for me and you got slower speed at the time when more people is @ home and use internet = might be some more serious, than router, issue. "

it's not the router that is the problem , is Capacity problems duo to the high internet usage in the city , yousee wasen't 100% ready for 100/10mbit, so now they are splitting up the internet central ,

in the city i live, there is 1 internet line that split out to 25000

they gonna try to split it up into 4, so 3 new connections comming in to the city , would make it stable
